Mission StatementFaith in Older People aims to celebrate the lives of older people, supporting the spiritual care of older people and their families.Our Purpose to increase understanding of the spiritual dimension in the care of older people and their families by using a network of organisations throughout Scotland.We work by:Encouraging, engaging and educating both lay and ordained members of faith communities.Devising and delivering training material in specialist areas.Encouraging and supporting care homes to fulfil the standards required to meet the spiritual needs of the residents.Developing the structure and resources of FiOP.

Mental Health

First Aid

The course is the first Mental Health First Aid course to be delivered by older people for older people and will be delivered over four sessions at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
