Spiritual Care and Health: Improving Outcome and Enhancing Wellbeing, International Conference

This interactive conference is for healthcare
researchers, educationalists and practitioners with an interest in spiritual care. You will explore how its delivery may enhance patient outcome and the wellbeing of patients, their carers, staff and organisations.

2. promote relationships between researchers, educators and practitioners in the field of spiritual care from all over the world.

Speakers include Rory Mair, Chief Executive, COSLA Vincent Walters, Association of Scottish Community Councils. This conference will examine the future relationship between Scottish Government and Local Government, how preventative funding and services can be directed to a new policy approach, the challenges of making outcome based policies more substantive and what the future role of the third sector should be.

This conference would continue to develop the themes from previous conferences held in Adelaide & Canberra in Australia, Durham in the UK and recently in 2009 in New Zealand.
