Ordained for over 45 years, he has been a chaplain to a hospice and a Research Fellow within the Dementia Services Development Centre, Stirling University; he has published widely on issues relating to dementia and ageing.

Helen Mein

Helen has worked in the voluntary sector in Scotland for 30 years.

She has initiated and managed a number of projects, held appointments to various statutory bodies and was Co-ordinator of Positive Help.

She has served on various management committees and was Chair of

The Mental Health Advocacy Project in West Lothian.

John Starr

Professor of Health and Ageing at University of Edinburgh and a member of the Executive of Alzheimer's Scotland.

Lissa Smith

Works for VOCAL (Voice of Carers Across Lothian) and has a wide experience of work within the voluntary sector.
